Meta a rachet\u00e9 Manus, une startup sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l’intelligence artificielle, pour environ 2 milliards de dollars fin d\u00e9cembre 2025. Quatre mois plus tard, le gouvernement chinois a ordonn\u00e9 \u00e0 Meta de d\u00e9faire l’op\u00e9ration. Les deux entreprises sont d\u00e9sormais contraintes de \u00ab d\u00e9brouiller les oeufs \u00bb : s\u00e9parer ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 fusionn\u00e9, rapatrier les \u00e9quipes, annuler les transferts. Des rachats d’entreprises \u00e0 des milliards de dollars, il s’en conclut des milliers chaque ann\u00e9e dans le monde. Derri\u00e8re chaque annonce, il y a des emplois redistribu\u00e9s, des produits absorb\u00e9s ou abandonn\u00e9s, des strat\u00e9gies enti\u00e8res redessin\u00e9es. Ce que l’affaire Meta-Manus illustre, c’est que m\u00eame les plus grosses d’entre elles peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9faites par une d\u00e9cision ext\u00e9rieure aux deux entreprises \u2014 ici, un gouvernement qui estime que la technologie rachet\u00e9e lui appartient encore, quel que soit le pays o\u00f9 la startup s’est install\u00e9e. Deux milliards de dollars, des mois d’int\u00e9gration, et une d\u00e9cision administrative suffit \u00e0 tout remettre \u00e0 z\u00e9ro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
